the new trilogy reused so many incidents and plot devices from the old trilogy (like in attack of the clones, obi-wan’s fighter attaches itself to the back of an asteroid to hide, like the falcon hides on a star destoryer in empire strikes back) it’s very redundent, but still cool to see how it all started, plus the cg battles are badass.

People need to think about what ‘restoring balance to the force’ meant. It can be interpreted in many, many ways. Who knows what it really meant? Hell, the Jedi could’ve been the imbalance. Or perhaps the Jedi were under the wrong leadership or tutelage. Lots of different meanings can be added.

i had never seen films 4, 5, or six so when i saw episode III I was like “DAMN!” Everything went wrong lol! the first three episodes are way more interesting if you don’t know what’s going to happen in the future already

No the thing is the prophecy said only that “The Chosen One” would destroy the Sith, and “Bring balance to the force” it said nothing of the details.
He did destroy the Sith, killing Palpatine and Dooku, defeating Asaji Ventress as well as allowing himself to die. He fulfilled his destiny and allowed the force to balance itself.
The Rise, Fall, Decent and Redemption of Anakin Skywalker: The Chosen One.
That is the destiny of the Jedi.
That is Star Wars.

I happened to notice something strange from 1:10- 1:19. The scene begins with Anakin and Obi-Wan jostling playfully back and forth with each other. Obi-Wan is holding Anakin’s lightsaber. A few seconds later, we see Anakin pushing Obi-Wan’s lightsaber (which is held by Obi-Wan) into Obi-Wan’s throat. The scene continues and Obi-Wan kicks Anakin right in the backside, he falls, Anakin kicks him, Obi-Wan drops the lightsaber. What happened? Which lightsaber was Obi-Wan supposed to have?

Hayden Christiansen was horrible in the role of Anakin Skywalker. Ewan McGregor was brilliant in the role of Obi Wan Kenobi.
