Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. the newly crowned sith lord and former best friend Darth Vader.

The duel on the Death Star between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader was the first lightsaber duel created. Upon viewing the Prequels Saber duels such as Anakin and Obi-Wan’s duel in Episode III and then comparing them to this, some might think of this fight as terrible. In my ignorance, I once thought the same way which was my main motivation to make this. After rewatching all six Star Wars films in order, my mind was changed. Although this is the first and best re-edit of the Original Trilogy’s saber duels I have done, the original untouched version is still a lot better then the re-edit I have done. This was just an experiment in editing. The rematch between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader on the first Death Star, re-edited to match the speed and style of the Prequels.

Ive been wanting to this for a number of weeks after ripping the last two films and I have done it, after finding the right song which took a while. I know the song I used has been used quite a number of times but I found it to be perfect and made this video to how I wanted it to look like. I think Ive done a great job showing the hard work that I put into this video. I also apologize for having this up so late, it was actually ready and finished three weeks ago and when I uploaded it then, I got a notice and I felt like I didnt want that on this video and took it down and thank you to one of my best friends Marissa {starwarsnerd456} for helping me alter the pitch of the song The song is a favourite of mine for quite some time and even though its not an original one and has been used, Ive always planned to use it and thought it would be perfect here for this video The video focuses on Anakin Skywalker as a young boy becoming a Jedi and secret husband to Padme Amidala to then become fallen Jedi and rising Sith Lord Darth Vader. It shows how he always constantly felt alone despite having those who loved and cared for him {Qui Gon, Shmi, Padme, Obi Wan} around him. He sees his life as broken dreams those who left him or who he felt betrayed him. It also shows the two people who never really could know him until the end: his twin children …
