Hold it right there KIMOSABE, if that was the case you would have to say that GIGLY(J-Lo’s flop) was a good movie…not being able to replicate it and such. Its every moviegoer’s right furthermore his duty to denounce SUCKNESS when encountered by it. The new triligy reminds me of liquid paper, everyones’ homework suffered with the invention of liquid paper……….a part of a whole? BULLSHIT its plot was twisted, its spirit raped, Lucas joined the darkside

If you can’t appreciate the new films as part of an whole, amazing story: That’s your problem… There are many who can.
Of course, the more recent films are not the same as the older ones… but do they have to be? No.
If you love the Emperor, there is no better film that ROTS.
Could you make an better film? NO!

I HATE Luke Skywalker. I think he is an EMO with an bad haircut, who comes in all green and untrained and *magically* saves the day. I would rather see the Empire win in the end.
But just because the films are not tailored exactly to my personal specifications, does not mean I go around claiming they “suck.”
And I submit, again, that you sir could NOT produce anything better.

#1: Anakin does not exist at this point in the films. He is dead. There is only Darth Vader.
#2: If you are 14 years old, don’t form opinions about timeless classics which were around long before you were born.
I could launch into an mutli-post rant and completely destroy your mediocre words and reasoning… but it’s not worth it.

Both ANAKIN AND LUKE learned that Obi-Wan suck balls at teaching the ways of the force to a other person… They both suck ’cause of their bad training and smell from old Ben Kenobi…

Some of the most serious stuff ever put to film. While the actual sword play was not as good as it would be today, the acting, seriousness, story, musical score and power of this scene are some of the absolute best ever. Never get tired of watching it. I’ll never forget the shock of the audience when Palpatine first threw those lightning bolts. Half the audience screamed and jumped out of their seats. No one ever saw such a thing before and it was done so well too!

there are many reasons this scene is so tremendous. Utube character limit is not enough to describe it, it’s the culmination of whole trilogy. Emperor himself is very charismatic character, however he’s untouchable, he’s up there, watching, does not contain a direct threat, so it seems. he even says that he is not armed, and then he lifts his hands and shoots lightnings! a very big contrast, surprise, rage all the stuff is several seconds. they’ve been stupid to give that ability to every sith..

..in the following sequels. note that shooting lightning bolts was used infinite times in lots of video games and movies since then. Luke screaming for help and vader… it could not be better.

@LukeGeoDude Yes I agree with your observations and about the lightning bolts too. Though they gave it to Dooku as well, his bolts were narrower and thinner, which in the books they said was a product of being at a lower level, one reason that Yoda was able to deflect them so easily,but it shocked the heck out of Dooku for NO Jedi was ever even able to block/deflect force lightning ever. Yoda was the first to do it and it disturbed him greatly realizing that Yoda had power Dooku did not suspect.

My heart sinks everytime Vader lifts the Holy One.
It was such an unworthy “death” for One so great as Darth Sidious, if One such as He can truly die… doubtful.
Glorious to the end! Even his death-scream is memorable. One of the best.
I love the Emperor. Perfection in every way.
